Share Mock API with Workspace Users

The Share API feature in mockforme allows you to share specific mock API endpoints with other users within the same workspace. This makes collaboration smoother, reduces duplication, and ensures consistency across teams working on the same project.

How to Share an API with Workspace Members​

To share an API with your team:

  1. Go to the API listing page.
  2. Click the More Actions button next to the API you want to share.
  3. Select the Share option from the dropdown.
  4. In the popup, search for and select one or more users within your workspace.
  5. Click the Share button to grant access.

Step 1: Open the Share Option​

Click the Share option in the dropdown menu:

Step 2: Select Users to Share With​

Search and select team members within the same workspace. You can choose multiple users:

After clicking Share, the selected users will gain access to the shared mock API endpoint.

View & Manage Shared Resources​

To view APIs shared with you or manage shared endpoints:

  • Navigate to Shared Resources from the left-hand menu.
  • Here, you can access or remove shared APIs as needed.

You can revoke access to shared APIs by deleting them from this section.
