Import Shared APIs into Your Collection

The Import API feature in mockforme allows you to seamlessly add APIs that have been shared with you by other users in the same workspace. This is particularly useful for collaborative development and maintaining consistency across environments.

How to Import Shared APIs​

Follow these simple steps to import APIs into your own collection:

  1. Navigate to the Collections List page.
  2. Click the Import API button on the top right.
  3. A list of shared APIs—along with their associated responses—will be displayed.
  4. Click the Responses link to preview the responses for any shared API.
  5. Click the Import button next to the API you want to add.
  6. A popup will appear with a search box. Type and select the target collection where you'd like to import the API.
  7. If the selected API already exists in your collection, you’ll be prompted with an option to merge responses.

Search & Import to a Target Collection​

In the import popup, search for the desired collection name to finalize the import:
